They are individuals who struggle with some of life's most important issues with all the human flaws and challenges most of us face in life. They are so realistic, I feel as if I have gained new friends about whom I deeply care. She shares faith and courage through her stories by writing about their personal experiences with God without seeming to "preach" to her readers. Her stories have surprises and hold my interest. This book measured up quite well! Good job, Lori! I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

Wow. The characters have so many dimensions, I was truly impressed. A great read, an incredible plot, and fantastic characters. A lovely read! Inspirational, funny, brilliant, with great character development. I recommend this book.
This four series book set is one of the best that I have read. In years to come I will read it again.
First of all I love Lori Wick! Her ability to put romance,Jesus Christ and a bit of suspense in to her stories is wonderful and always leaves me feeling blessed! Hawk and Sunny are some of my favorite characters. I loved seeing Sunny develop into this mature Christian woman and adored her and hawk falling for each other. Each of the characters in the book have a place in my heart. This is my 5th time re-reading the book and their story never ever gets old! 10/10 would read again!
I read the Kinsington Chronicles while recovering from foot surgery. I read them again when my recovery was done. I recommend this series. Lori Wick brings a lot of insight to situations that we experience today through stories that are set hundreds of years before.
A good Christian love story. Expresses very well how you might feel if raised, from age 2 to 13, in a culture very different from the one you were born into, then restored to your family, but your birth parents are dead. Then there the love interest, she is attracted to her rescuer at age 13 but he is 10 years older, and gets engaged to another woman. You keep asking yourself how is this going to be resolved? The usual answer, the death of the other woman is not the way. That's good as it is an over used device. Eventually all is straightened out.
I've loved this book and read it so many times and cannot get over Brandon and Sunny. I love how they grew from friends to lovers and the understanding they had for each other. Although their path towards love was a bit rough, it was a joy to see them finally come to the knowledge.
The only bad thing about this book is the name of the lead... Sunny. Now, that is saying something! Because who cares what her name is!!!

This is such a great story. The beginning is intriguing, the middle is a combination of emotions, and the end is thrilling!!

The beginning An English toddler lost at sea to grow up in Arabia as Shani, the beloved daughter of the Emir? OOOOOOOOOOOH!!! Her "father" forces her back to her English family with nothing but a short note and an odd gift??? Wow!! I'm intrigued!!

The middle She is scared and unsure of English customs. She went from Shani to Sunny overnight? Poor girl! Strange family, strange customs! Wait, these men only have one wife each? And they seem to LOVE their mates? And every man in the country seems taken in by her beauty and she is afraid of "enslavement" by marriage!

The end She loves WHO? WHO loves HER? WHOA! This is thrilling!! What's going on... this is all so exciting!!

Okay, so those are some of the thoughts and emotions you will have while enjoying this very well written, well thought out book. Everything ties together. All of the characters, and I mean ALL, are wonderful. Even secondary characters are well developed.

After a very disappointing try at reading "Cassidy," I was a little apprehensive about trying out another WIck book. I am so glad I read this and threw caution to the wind. This is spectacular.
